wednesday's child #12: fit model funda

as all designers know, a good fit model is essential when it comes to creating gorgeous garments. unfortunately, in these times of mcdonalds and full fat coca cola, these sought after amazonian beauties can be rather tricky to find, let alone be willing to stand for hours in the corner of a dark studio whilst frantic designers scarily wield metres of fabric in their faces and stick pins in them willy nilly. many a fit model has come and gone here at siob.she towers, and as our first collection begins to take shape we've often bemoaned our lack of firm female flesh upon which to drape and fondle...

but lo! the universe was on our side this week when the glorious funda came into our lives and bewitched us with her statuesque size 8 figure and bronzed skin. perfectly proportioned with lithe limbs and graceful bones, funda approached us for the job as she felt a bit of a misfit in her previous role in a polished mayfair boutique. we welcomed her with open arms and funda the siob.she fit model was born.

so who exactly is funda? well...

fond of staring out of windows with one leg bent, funda is still a mystery to us (as are the random scratches which appear on her body out of nowhere). quiet and aloof with secrets behind her eyes, we can never be sure what she's thinking and this is why we love her - an unknown mystery to solve, funda is our muse.
